"Our Deepest Fear" inspires me!

I love this quote from
Marianne Williamson

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

This picture always makes me laugh

Meg just after a combing.  It's good to laugh.  Surround yourself with happy pictures to keep the winter blues away.

What if up? I love this

What if up?
Here's a little game to play with yourself. The idea has been expanded by Mindy Audlin www.whatifup.com. The mind is always asking what if DOWN questions like:-

What if it all goes wrong?
What if they don't like me?
What if I lose all my money?

In this game you ask what if UP questions like:-

What if it all goes right?
What if I become a brilliant ________________?
What if I become a millionaire?

When you start asking the what if UP questions it will start changing your energy levels and your internal dialogue. It feels good.

Don't take my word for it....try it and see what happens.

Have fun.

I saw a client today who wanted to give up smoking.  I became a hypnotherapist because I went to see one to stop smoking myself.  It was so worth it and I have never been tempted once to smoke again.  It seems hard to believe when you give it up, that within such a short time, you will have wished you never had started.  But that is part of life, making mistake.  The great thing about giving up smoking is your body will start helping you correct that mistake the second you stop.

Within 20 minutes of your last cigarette
-       blood pressure drops to normal
-       pulse rate drops to normal
-       body temperature of hands and feet return to normal

8 hours after your last cigarette
-       carbon monoxide leels in the blood drops to normal
-       oxygen level in blood increases to normal – 8 hours – WOW
-       you smell better

24 hours
-       chances of a heart attack decreases

48 hours
-       Never endings start re-growing
-       Your ability to smell and taste things is enhanced

72 hours
-       Bronchial tubes relax making breathing easier.
-       Your lung capacity increases – how amazing is that?

2 weeks to 3 months
-       Circulation improves
-       Walking becomes easier as you have more breath literally
-       Lung function increases by up to 30%

1 to 9 months
-       Coughing, sinus congestion, fatigue shortness of breath decrease
-       Lung cilia re-grow increasing the ability to handle mucus and clean lungs
-       Body’s overall energy increases

5 years
-       Lung cancer death rate for average smoker almost halves

10 years
-       Lung cancer death rate down to almost that of a non-smoker
-       Pre-cancerous cells are replaced
-       Other cancer risks decrease

And all these benefits are lost when you start smoking again so after this recording you will never have ONE puff again.  Here’s to good health.

Even though... At least....

This is an excellent tip if you have anything negative happening in your life.

You first acknowledge it and then let it go.  For example, "Even though I hate my job, at least I can find a new one".   "Even though I have gained weight, at least I can do something about it".  "Even though I don't have a partner in my life now, at least I can be proactive and start looking on line".  "Even though I can't seem to stop smoking, at least I am trying to cut down".  It really helps to let go of negative energy.

It is a great habit to get yourself into for the New Year.
