Putney Mother inspired to run marathon to raise money which took her sister's life.

Local Publican of the Bricklayers arms, Becky Newman, is one of ten of the British runners competing in the North Pole on April 5th.  The race is run on ice floes floating on the Arctic ocean in temperatures of around -30 degrees.  She hopes to raise £10,000 for Headway, a local charity that helps victims of brain injury.  As many Putney locals know, the Bricklayer Arms pub re-opened back in 2005 as a direct result of Becky's sister's sudden death from a brain haemorrhage.  Becky discovered recently that Headway does the most wonderful work with victims of stroke, and in particular with children who have lost one or both parents to brain injury related deaths.  If you would like to help Becky, please go to Charity Giving and type in Becky Newman.  All donations go direct to Headway.  Becky has funded her entire trip and specialist clothes for the event personally.

Hypnotherapy and how you can benefit
Hypnotherapy is a treatment that uses hypnosis to alter the way you feel and think and to change aspects of your life, which need improving or new direction.
Hypnosis is a perfectly natural condition, which we experience every day of our lives, like daydreaming. We drift in and out of a hypnotic state all day long without being aware of it. Under hypnosis, we are capable of making significant changes to our thinking patterns and unlocking unlimited potential to improve and transform our lives.
All hypnosis is self-hypnosis – meaning you are in control at all times. A hypnotherapist guides and empowers the client throughout the hypnotic process. This is a focused state of relaxation, in which the subconscious mind can achieve incredible transformations for beneficial purposes.

Working together, the client and therapist create positive and therapeutic changes, which can alter a person’s life permanently. The focus is on the SOLUTION, not the problem.

Mind sets - Nalaa the cat

Our 17 year old cat, Albert, passed away in 2011.  I have always had cats but was thinking I really wanted to get new carpets, so I didn't want to get a new cat (Albert tore up the edge of the carpet if a door was closed and he couldn't get into a room).  Then we saw a Devon Rex, called Nalaa who melted my heart.  She makes me laugh, they calm you down, and they are great company.  That is what matter.  Enjoying life.  Change your mindset and enjoy life.
